South Dakota Housing, in partnership with the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, released the 2024 Annual Action Plan and the draft allocation plans for the HOME, Housing Tax Credit, Housing Trust Fund, Emergency Solutions Grants, Community Development Block Grant, and Housing Opportunity Fund programs for public comment.
The annual action plan is a planning document that outlines how the estimated $12.5 million in housing and community development funds from HUD will be allocated, whereas the draft allocation plans describe how the allocated funds will be distributed.
Persons interested in providing comments may do so by attending the public meeting that will be held on March 5, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. CT, or by sending written comments to SD Housing, attention Amy Eldridge, PO Box 1237, Pierre, SD 57501, by fax (605) 773-5154 or emailing to amy@sdhda.org. All comments are due by 5 p.m. CT, March 14, 2024.
