Qualifying for Security Deposit Assistance
The Security Deposit Assistance Program is available to those who meet specific criteria, with funds administered by approved local agencies. Security deposit assistance is funding to be used for the payment of security deposits of rental units. It may not exceed more than one month’s rent. It is available on a first-come-first served basis for low-income families (the household’s income may not exceed 60% of the area median income by household size and county).
