South Dakota Housing Unveils New Logo, Brand, and Website

PIERRE, S.D. (3/14/23) – South Dakota Housing is proud to announce the launch of its new logo, brand, and shortened name, reflecting the organization's continued commitment to providing affordable housing options for all residents of the state.

“As an agency that serves the entire state of South Dakota, we never want to be stagnant when there are opportunities to better serve our state through new programming or offerings," said Lorraine Polak, Executive Director at South Dakota Housing. “As 2023 marks our 50 year anniversary, we felt it was a good time to take a look at how we visually represent ourselves and make updates to appeal to new audiences. The new branding represents our continued dedication to our mission and the values we’ve celebrated over the last 50 years, while also showcasing our abilities to evolve to meet the needs of our state’s residents."

The new logo depicts a house within the state of South Dakota. South Dakota Housing’s programs provide affordable housing options to individuals throughout our state. Whether it is homeownership, funding programs to build apartments, rental services, or housing the homeless, South Dakota Housing has a wide range of programs that help provide many South Dakotans with a good place to live.

In addition to the new logo and branding, South Dakota Housing has launched a redesigned website with a modern, clean, and intuitive design, making it easier for users to access information about the organization's programs and services.
